FAQ

No. Signing up, reading posts, and chatting never touch your wallet. It only comes into play when you pay for a membership or join an activity, and the interface walks you through it.

Free circles cost nothing. Paid circles charge what the owner set — usually monthly or yearly; the exact amount is on the circle’s plan page. The full picture lives in Pricing & fees.

Creating and running a circle is free: the platform takes a 10% service fee from each membership order, and Luck campaigns (red packets, lotteries) take nothing. Circle VIP is an optional subscription (monthly, quarterly, or yearly). See Pricing & fees.

Membership activates within seconds. If it doesn’t, look up the payment with its Trace on the order page, or contact the circle admin.

Receiving red packets, tips, or prizes needs a recent Mixin Messenger version. Update from the app store and reopen the page.

They don’t need to: when each order completes, the platform automatically sends the owner’s share (minus the 10% fee and any inviter bonus) as a direct Mixin transfer, usually arriving within seconds to minutes. See Money: orders & payouts.

It depends on the circle’s chat mode: in Default and Broadcast modes only the admin team sees your messages; in Lecture mode the admins’ posts are visible to everyone; in Group chat everyone sees everything. The bot messages you the current mode when you join — see Chatting in your circle.

In your Mixin wallet: red packet claims arrive in seconds, and the platform forwards tips in full with no platform cut. If money seems missing, update Mixin Messenger first, then check the transfer with its Trace.

With anonymous mode on, regular members post anonymously; admins can verify an identity privately when needed, but never publish it. Spam and flooding get withheld, recalled, or blocked.

Everything already enabled keeps running — you just can’t switch into new VIP features (like the VIP layouts or Group mode). Renewing extends from the expiry date and restores everything, see Circle VIP.

Ask the circle’s admins, or send “support” to OhMyBot to reach the help desk.
