Posts, votes, questions & articles

Most of a circle’s content lives in the timeline. This page walks through the kinds of content you’ll meet and how to take part.

  • Tap Like to show you enjoyed a post; tap again to undo.
  • Reply to the author or other members in the comments; you can’t edit or delete your own comments — contact the circle admin if one needs to be removed.
  • Authors can edit a post at any time — an Edited mark shows afterwards — and can delete their own posts.
  • Some circles let members post too (the circle owner sets who can post). A post can carry images, or a single video.

The author runs a vote where you pick one option or several, with a deadline anywhere from 1 hour to 30 days. Once voting closes, you can see who voted for each option. Some vote posts are also lottery posts: voting automatically enters you in the draw.

In circles with questions turned on, every post has an Ask Question button underneath. Only you and the author can see a question while it waits for an answer — it stays out of the timeline. When answering, the author chooses public (everyone can see it) or private (only you). Track your history under My Questions / My Answers.

Articles are long-form pieces published by the circle owner or a lecturer, pushed to you as soon as they go out. Some are grouped into collections. Like posts, articles come with visibility levels: public, Trial, members only.

Channels organize posts by topic. Everyone starts in the General channel; Subscribe to the channels you care about and your timeline shows only those.

  • Locked content won’t open — you need to be a member: see Buying & renewing membership. In a trial circle you can preview some content.
  • The post button is missing — this circle limits posting to admins or lecturers.
