Watching lives and replays

When a circle goes live, you can enter the room from the circle home, the live card in chat, or the directory.

  • Circle home — the live strip shows the viewer count while on air and the start time for the next live.
  • Circle chat — the bot sends a live card when the stream starts; tap it to enter the room.
  • Oh My Live — the /live directory gathers on-air lives, upcoming lives, and replays from your circles. Lives from other circles are listed too, but watching still requires joining that circle.

For a scheduled live, tap Remind me; the bot messages you before it starts.

  • Tap play on the stage to start watching; the top shows the host, viewer count, and time on air.
  • The is picked for your network automatically. When it cannot tell, it asks you to choose Outside mainland China (ultra-low latency, about 1 s, with automatic fallback) or Mainland China network (standard playback, the most stable choice). Your choice is remembered and can be switched from the top of the room at any time.
  • Room chat mirrors circle chat and follows the circle’s chat mode. When you cannot post, the composer explains why.
  • When a live ends or is cancelled, the stage shows its state; if a replay exists, you can open it from there.

The demo below recreates the real room. Tap Tap to watch — when your network cannot be detected, the room asks you to pick a line. Then use the console to switch the network or the chat mode and watch the room, the composer, and its hints react.

    • live in the circle’s replay list and in the Oh My Live replays rail.
    • The replay page reuses the room chrome, and you can jump between recording segments.
    • The live will not open — it may not have started, may have ended, or may have been cancelled; refresh to see the current state.
    • Playback stutters — switch the playback line from the top of the room; on a mainland-China network, choose Mainland China network.
    • You cannot post — the current chat mode does not allow it; the composer explains why. Try again once Q&A opens or the mode changes.
    • You cannot see a circle’s live — join that circle first; Members-only lives never appear in the public directory.
